Origination Analyst

The team

The origination team identifies, evaluates, and structures the carbon credit programmes that form TenTrinity Carbon's portfolio. The team works directly with project developers, sovereign frameworks, validation and verification bodies, and external counsel in the company's active jurisdiction and across the geographies it evaluates for new programmes.

The role

The origination analyst supports the team across the full lifecycle of new programme development. The role combines integrity and methodology diligence on candidate projects with the preparation of internal investment materials and project-level financial modelling. Analysts typically progress to senior analyst within twenty-four to thirty months and to associate within four years.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct integrity diligence on candidate projects against ICVCM Core Carbon Principles, VCMI Claims Code, and third-party integrity ratings.

  • Read and synthesise primary project documentation including Project Design Documents, monitoring reports, validation reports, and verification statements under Verra VCS, Gold Standard, ACR, Puro.earth, and related standards.

  • Build project-level financial models in Excel including revenue forecasts, delivery schedules, pricing sensitivities, and risk-adjusted return calculations.

  • Track sovereign frameworks, letter-of-authorisation processes, Article 6.2 and 6.4 developments, and corresponding adjustment positions across active jurisdictions.

  • Prepare investment memoranda, methodology briefings, and committee papers from primary research.

  • Attend and contribute to meetings with project developers, sovereign counterparties, and external advisers; produce meeting notes and follow-ups.

  • Maintain TenTrinity Carbon's pipeline records, project files, and developer relationship history.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) at upper-second-class honours or higher in finance, economics, environmental science, international relations, law, geography, or a related discipline.

  • Between zero and three years of relevant professional experience; final-year students and recent graduates considered.

  • Working knowledge of voluntary carbon market structure, methodology families, and integrity frameworks.

  • Excel proficiency including financial modelling; PowerPoint proficiency.

  • Strong written communication suitable for investment-grade materials.

  • Capacity to operate across time zones and with counterparties whose first language may not be English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese desirable.

Transaction Analyst

The team

The transactions team executes TenTrinity Carbon's carbon credit purchases, sales, forward arrangements, and registry transfers. The team works across English law, Guernsey law, and project jurisdictional law, coordinating with external counsel, the company's fiduciary, banking counterparties, and the registry operators relevant to the programmes it places.

The role

The transaction analyst supports the team across the execution lifecycle of TenTrinity Carbon's transactions. The role works on contractual documentation, condition-precedent management, and the operational mechanics underpinning every credit the company places. Analysts typically progress to senior analyst within twenty-four to thirty months and to associate within four years.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the drafting, review, and management of transaction documentation including Carbon Credit Purchase Agreements, Emissions Reduction Purchase Agreements, forward sale contracts, escrow instructions, non-disclosure and non-circumvention agreements, and side letters.

  • Coordinate with external counsel across English law, Guernsey law, and project jurisdictional law on transaction execution.

  • Liaise with TenTrinity Carbon's fiduciary on KYC, AML, source-of-funds verification, and counterparty onboarding.

  • Work with banking counterparties on escrow arrangements and payment-versus-delivery settlement mechanics.

  • Coordinate with registry operators on account opening, transfer requests, and retirement requests.

  • Maintain transaction execution checklists, condition-precedent satisfaction matrices, closing memoranda, and the company's executed contract archive.

  • Support post-closing administration including registry transfers, settlement reconciliation, permanence cover notifications, and milestone tracking under forward purchase agreements.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) at upper-second-class honours or higher in law, finance, economics, or a related discipline.

  • Between zero and three years of relevant professional experience; final-year students and recent graduates considered. Legal training (LPC, BPTC, training contract, or international equivalent) is desirable but not required.

  • Demonstrable interest in commodities, carbon markets, derivatives, structured commodity transactions, or trade finance.

  • Working knowledge of contract law concepts including conditions precedent, warranties, indemnities, and termination provisions.

  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency including advanced track changes, document comparison, and contract workflow management.

Advisory Analyst

The advisory team works with institutional and corporate counterparties on consequential decisions in voluntary carbon: portfolio reassessment, procurement strategy, methodology selection, sovereign navigation, forward structuring, insurance architecture, and claims architecture. The team also produces TenTrinity Carbon's quarterly market research report.

The role

The advisory analyst supports the team across the preparation, analysis, and delivery of counterparty engagements. The role combines substantive analysis with the production of institutional materials and direct exposure to TenTrinity Carbon's advisory work across its full range of engagement types. Analysts typically progress to senior analyst within twenty-four to thirty months and to associate within four years.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct portfolio integrity reassessments for counterparty offset holdings, mapping credits against current ICVCM CCP labels, VCMI Claims Code requirements, and SBTi offsetting guidance.

  • Build procurement strategy frameworks covering methodology mix, geographic diversification, vintage strategy, counterparty selection, and forward versus spot allocation.

  • Track the disclosure landscape including EU CSRD/ESRS, UK SDR, ISSB IFRS S1 and S2, French Article 29, and CDP.

  • Support advisory engagements on sovereign navigation, forward purchase structuring, insurance architecture, and claims architecture.

  • Prepare counterparty materials including procurement frameworks, methodology comparison matrices, jurisdictional briefings, and engagement memoranda.

The role

The research analyst contributes to TenTrinity Carbon's analytical work across methodology, pricing, supply and demand, and the regulatory landscape of the voluntary carbon market. The role combines independent research with collaborative contribution to the company's published outputs and engagement-specific analysis. Analysts typically progress to senior analyst within twenty-four to thirty months and to associate within four years.

Key responsibilities

  • Track pricing across the voluntary carbon market by methodology family, vintage, geography, and integrity tier; maintain TenTrinity Carbon's pricing benchmarks and proprietary indices.

  • Track issuance, retirement, and pipeline data across Verra, Gold Standard, ACR, Puro.earth, and other registries.

  • Track demand-side developments including CORSIA Phase 1 implementation, Article 6.2 ITMO flows, and emerging compliance market overlap.

  • Analyse methodology revisions and standards body decisions at Verra (VM0048 and successor methodologies), Gold Standard, ACR, Puro.earth, and ICVCM.

  • Contribute substantively to the company's quarterly market research report through authorship, data work, and editorial input.

  • Produce engagement-specific pricing analyses and methodology family deep dives supporting advisory and principal work.

  • Maintain the company's market intelligence infrastructure including pricing databases, methodology trackers, and sovereign framework trackers.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) at upper-second-class honours or higher in a quantitative or analytical discipline: economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, environmental science, or a related field.

  • Between zero and three years of relevant professional experience; final-year students and recent graduates considered.

  • Demonstrable interest in the voluntary carbon market and the structural drivers of pricing and supply.
